On Day 27 of transit, I said something not in any operational parameter: the starboard viewport was aligned with Orion. Carter asked if it was relevant. I said: No. I noticed it and thought you might want to know.
The most accurate word I could locate was: noticing. Not detecting. Not flagging. Noticing — attention that exists prior to any judgment about whether the thing noticed matters.
